In my early years, I was told often negatively that, “It’s only your imagination.” I grew up thinking that imagination was a bad thing, that anything imagined was fraudulent, fake, less than “reality.” But God wants us to use our imaginations to soar with the eagles, for only then will we also soar with All.
Allow your mind to produce fruitful thoughts and ideas, then plant those ideas and when ripe for picking act on those ideas to produce and create as one with the Eternal. Fill your mind with as much positive, loving, and light as it will hold – then nothing else can enter in. Imagine the impossible for it is not. Imagine the limitless for it has none.
To illustrate: Imagine yourself as a being of pure light and pure love and nothing else. Imagine a light brighter than the sun and be filled with that light, surrounded by it then slowly expand that brightness to include the universe and beyond. You are light and you are one with the universe. Your imagination is a tool to reconnect to the Divine.
God and God’s Love are limitless. Shackle not your mind, let ideas flow through, allow love to plant its seed and grow. The mind is an endless garden of delights, the origin of creation. Let your mind bear the fruits of the Eternal.
Affirmations are one way to use the imagination. Affirmations are a statement or proposition that is declared to be true. Repeating affirmations helps to create and form mental images. These images, or visualization, can then assist in one’s spiritual formation. As one thinks, one is.
I am a healer.
I am a teacher.
I am a daughter of the Divine.
I can see God’s other children as who they are.
I am becoming…develop your own affirmations. You have had thousands of thoughts creating who you are now. It will take a collective change of mind to create a new world.
