Kindness is Catching

The only reason not to be kind is fear. Universal principals dispense natural consequences without human judgment, labeling, and punishment. Human laws or rules involve judgment, often not of the Eternal. God has created a universe in which natural laws operate.

Kindness is a natural principal. Practice kindness first to your own family, and then reach outward into your community. Practice kindness with humans and non-humans; with plants and animals, with insects and reptiles. Kindness knows no limits. Practice kindness in your home environment and in your world environment. A kind heart is an open heart. An open heart is a two-way path to God.

It is easy to practice kindness to a child or a friend or loved one. It is more difficult to practice kindness when we feel we are being used, walked on, perceived as weak – all these thoughts stem from a wrong interpretation of who we are.

How do we practice kindness when someone is unkind towards us or even downright mean or abusive? This is nearly impossible unless we see ourselves as a pure drop in the Eternal ocean, as pure love, joy, and peace. As a drop of energetic, creative Love, it does not matter what another does or does not, says or says not, we see them as we see ourselves, as children of our creator, as another drop in the ocean. What their little self is doing or saying or thinking does not matter to who we are. This is nearly impossible without God’s assistance. Be love, live love. Be one, live one.

A caveat: if another is physically, mentally, or emotionally abusing you, leave and remove yourself. This is loving yourself as your Creator asks you to.

Protect the community from those who wish to harm the vulnerable and innocent. Remove them, but lovingly, understand they are hurting and need healing, too, but not in a place where they can hurt another. This, too, is love.
