Never Alone

I used to fear saying, “Thy Will Be Done” believing that if I surrendered control of my life things would not go the way I wished. Then I believed that saying, “Thy Will Be Done” was said as a sacrifice of self. That in praying I gave up any control of my life to our Creator, sacrificing the control and allowing whatever may come… good or bad and then shoring myself up to accepting the bad with as grateful a heart as I could muster. I then said, “Thy Will Be Done” as a trusting child, knowing that God loves me so much and in this love He/She would never allow anything to happen to me that was not according to the plan. Mine was not to label good or bad. Mine was not to experience our Creator's gifts as good or bad, painful or joyful. Mine was to say thank you reverently and lovingly, knowing this good Parent has blessed me more than abundantly. There is nothing greater than Eternal Love.

Humility is knowing who you are. It is knowing your place in the scheme of the Universe. You are a child of God – what can be more humbling and at the same time more powerful than that?

If we humble ourselves and ask the Universe for help, we will receive. We need do or be nothing alone.
