The power of Connection through Prayer

"Prayer is the heartbeat of life. Prayer is breath. Prayer is the birds’ song. Prayer is a gentle wind on our face. Prayer is laughter and music and joy and light and most of all, love."

Prayer connects us. When we communicate with the Eternal, we exist on the same energy level. One cannot pray too much. Pray unceasingly. No matter what you have been blessed with, both good and bad, no matter where life takes you, pray.

In the morning pray as the day dawns. Before bed pray before sleep comes calling. In between awakening in the morn and sleeping in the night, pray. Prayer is the heartbeat of life. Prayer is breath. Prayer is the birds’ song. Prayer is a gentle wind on our face. Prayer is laughter and music and joy and light and most of all, love.

Place yourself in the presence of the Eternal. Open your heart and soul and sing your thanks, pour out your love and ask for what you need. One cannot be thankful enough. Praise Life and be open to receive. Be grateful for whatever is sent your way.

I thought myself powerless, but have been blessed with the gift of prayer. I no longer feel powerless as all power is of the Eternal. I need only put my complete trust in the Eternal Soul and I have no need to feel powerful within my little self.

Heroes come in many shapes, sizes, and circumstances. One hero is someone who prays while in a spiritual desert with no response and continues without end. May we all aspire to this courage.

Prayer provides wings, lifting us out of our little lives, connecting us with one another and the Eternal, and it allows Eternal Strength to flow from us outwards into the world. Live through, with, and in prayer to be Love.
