Be Love in All

The natural man is completely attuned with nature, living at one with her laws, like the creatures of the forests and oceans. We are no longer “natural man”; however, we retain instincts of protecting our own that often override instincts of cooperation and compassion.

We live in a physical world with needs of nourishment and other body/emotion/mental provisions. To survive, these provisions must be minimally met. It is when we seek to not only minimally meet our needs, but to have more and more and more than what we need in order to exist is what is at issue. The scriptures speak of putting off the natural man. Putting off the natural man encompasses the needs of the physical; however, within the spiritual context of placing focus on the Eternal Way first. Compassion and cooperation are in balance with protection and provision.

When the material world desires become more important a priority than the desire for unity with the Eternal, then it creates imbalance. This imbalance is one source for all the world’s troubles. It creates improper perspective. Desires run rampant and people gorge themselves.

Corporations often make profit a priority over the respect and dignity of humans and the planet. We need to not support these corporations. As much as possible, begin to change. Begin bit by bit to provide all you need without purchasing from a corporation. If you have to purchase, make it a purchase from a corporation that seeks the greatest good – not always an easy task to find.

Money speaks. Choose not to participate in the system that has been passed down to us. Think of our children’s, children’s, children. What do we want to leave for them? We have a choice: to change our way of doing things or to give our children a world that is dying. We can choose to save our world or allow it to die. How to get this message out so people believe in it enough to take action? We are cogs in a great wheel rolling toward destruction, but each one of us has the choice to be a cog or to be a savior.

The haves and have-nots apply to countries as well as to individuals/families and communities. We are one tribe, a global tribe. All includes all plants, minerals, and animal life, as well as humans. All is one. We must start thinking and behaving as if this were the case.

Greed has done much harm. We need to reverse greed – become love. It sounds so simplistic and innocent, but it is the solution. Be love now. Love in how you walk, think, talk, act, dress, interact, live. If how you are thinking, speaking, or acting in a way that causes harm to any other, change.

Social media is a great communication vehicle, but when it is easy to create sides and cast the other side as villains, mob mentality escapes to the world outside the binary into the 3-D world of flesh and blood where it is all too easy to physically harm one that disagrees with your viewpoint. I beg of us all to stop the hate in our discourse.

I read a post trumpeting kindness on a friend’s page. The very following post was one of name-calling, mockery, and vitriol of the other “side”. We need to self-monitor. If there is any unkindness in one’s message, please edit. We need to speak gently and lovingly to even those we disagree with. Are we so insecure of our own beliefs that we need to shout down the other in rants and at times obscenities? Is this the way to change another’s thoughts? What are we doing to one another? Please be kind, be gentle, be love and quit spewing anything even remotely aligned with hate.

Place one’s physical needs and desires within the unity of the Divine, where each has a place and All is Love.
