Channel Spirit into the Physical

It is valuable and important to reach out to those in need, battle for human rights and dignities, save the environment, and work to make our world a better place. However, what if we as a collective could change our world by changing our thoughts, evolving our collective conscious? Change our perspective, our focus; one person at a time. If we bring the Eternal into our world again, then the material world as we know it will vanish.

We are spiritual beings; we are physical beings. We began our physical sojourn unconscious of our spirit nature. We serve ourselves as physical beings, creating family and community. We use our minds, our intellects to explore this world, as well as the spirit aspect of ourselves. It is time to evolve and serve spirit while in this physical world, creating family and community and the world based on the spirit of active love.

If we began in paradise and chose to leave it to feed our physical passions, then we can choose to return by feeding our spirits and all those who touch us as well. Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” He did not mean physical food. We can actively choose to create community based on service to others thus channeling spirit into our world versus service to our physical selves and allowing our spirit selves to remain at sleep. That is why scripture so often says, “Awake!” Because our spirits are asleep. We can be physical beings in this physical world awake and united within spirit. It’s a beautiful place – why choose anything less?

Some say that in our night dreams the people who appear represent varying aspects of one’s self. What if this were true in what we think of as real life as well? The people we encounter daily, moment to moment, are merely just varying aspects of ourselves. The interactions whether in our sleep or while awake are healing or learning moments. Each interaction, each person, is a gift of learning and healing. Each person one encounters is a sacred light. This can then extend to all life. Just this change in our perception would allow us to create a gentler, kinder world.
