Manifest as One to End War

War stems from fear. Fear of the Other. Take the current Israeli-Palestine conflict. It has divided our country into pro-Israel and pro-Palestine factions.

Those who are pro-Israel spout the history of the Israeli state and its prior conflicts.  The brutality of October 7th cannot be denied. The Palestinian people acting as shields for the Hamas’ warriors to hide behind. Israel attempting to retrieve its people and wipe out the perceived enemy, so that another October 7th cannot happen.

Those who are pro-Palestine spout the history of the Israeli state and its prior conflicts. They focus on a history of colonialism and purported abuse perpetuated by Israel on the Palestinian peoples thus creating terror organizations. Some holding this side want to wipe out the state of Israel or at the very least punish it for its aggressions.

I know very little. I do understand that the state of Israel was formed after WWII and displaced many, many Palestinian peoples. I know there have been numerous conflicts throughout the years since. I also believe that the state of Israel resides in the Jewish homeland whose history can be read in the Bible. Three religions, Christianity, Muslim, and Judaism claim Jerusalem as a holy land.

The conflict is about different religions sharing one holy land. Judaism is the father religion of both Christianity and Muslim. They originated from the same land. It is about different races sharing the same land, the Jewish peoples and the Arab peoples. These groups of people have been in conflict for thousands of years over land in the Middle East.

These religions share a belief in One God. Perhaps this One God has differing names, but it is the same God. Yet, the people battle over land and historical perceived or real abuses. The Jewish people were enslaved at times and conquerors at times.

The people in our country are divided. Our government supports Israel in the conflict. While the media shows horrific images of what the war has inflicted upon the Palestinian citizenry, the innocents. People empathize with the innocents experiencing the horrors of war. Pope Francis and many pray for an end to the war, for both sides to come to a peace negotiations table.

War displaces. War inflicts the greatest suffering on the people caught up in it. War today, even if it is between two small countries, is magnified on all the various media outlets, so it impacts the entire world.

War pierces the heart of The Eternal Mother of All, but in this sorrow, the Mother extends her protecting arms around those innocents most in need of Her Great Love. The Eternal Mother holds All in and with the Greatest, most Powerful, Love. If only we could see as She sees, beholding the other as The Divine,. We would put down our arms and ask, “How can we serve you?”

Fear stops us. What if we laid down our arms, but the other did not? We are acting in One with the All, but they are acting as if their perceived separateness from The Eternal is not only operative, but everything.  I don’t have the answer. The Great Mother of the All responds with love, but we are not quite yet there, but we could be. No matter the side, see Self and the other as Divine Love. If All are One, how can we continue to battle one another? This will tone down the rhetoric, the raging, and erase battle lines drawn in sand.

Be God Now. Be One Now. Be Now.
