Roar - Wait - Breathe

The lion roars, rearing its head.
Roar
Spitting, spewing flesh of the dead.

Why are you weeping my soul?
Shielded from the horror of the world,
Indulging, fantasizing, eating,
You are the lion.
Ripping, destroying ,seducing,
Flesh upon flesh.
Pressing, pounding, resounding,
Forever - so it seems.
Entering, taking, cutting,
Flesh upon flesh.
Playing, laughing, crying,
Sighing, hiding, flying,
flesh upon Flesh.
Eaten by the lion,
Becoming the lion.
Wait.
Why are you weeping my soul?
Crying out for the flesh charring and burning,
For the flesh known and unknown,
The flesh that feeds the lion.
Wait.
Why are you weeping my soul?
Hatred spewing, gagging,
Tearing,, retching, grieving,
Longing, vomiting, again and again.
Reaching, striving, creating,
Mewling, subsisting, cawing,
Crowing, hitting, spitting,
Breathing, restlessness subsiding,
Chewing, seeing, heaving,
Inner breathing as One.
Exhale, Inhale as One.
Inhale, Exhale as One.
Breathe with the Universe.
Peace.
Calming the lion.
Feeding it the raw flesh of breath.
